Planning guidelines for native vegetation retention controls (external link) are briefly outlined within the DSE website. Meanwhile, a detailed account of vegetation resources in the Wimmera region combined with regional vegetation standards and the decision making process for assessing permit applications to clear native vegetation is the focus of the Wimmera Regional Vegetation Plan.
