Status of Water Resources and Supplies
The monthly Status of Water Resources and Supplies report is now hosted on the Department of Sustainability and Environment’s (DSE) website (external link) as the Monthly Water Report. DSE is now the lead agency in Victoria for the management of water resources across Victoria.
This is a monthly statewide summary of the status of water resources and water supplies at the end of each month. It is based on data provided by the State's 20 urban and rural water authorities.
Monthly updates include (external links):

- streamflow
- water storages
- groundwater levels
- seasonal climate forecast
- urban supply restrictions
- irrigation allocations
- restrictions on stream diversions
- Archived reports on the DSE website
This monthly report was developed collaboratively between DSE and the Department of Primary Industries under the former Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
