Southern Farming Systems Soil Pits

A number of soil pit sites associated with raised bed cropping were characterised across south-western Victoria during 1999 and 2000. These soil pit sites were located in paddocks utilised for raised bed cropping and provide examples of a number of the soil types in the region associated with raised beds.
