Transcript/Description: Illustration of data export from GIS to SIEVE7 through the Arc2SIEVE8 interface and demonstration of the SIEVE environment. This video clip shows the functioning of the Arc2SIEVE interface that allows users to export GIS vector (polygon shapefile) and imagery data into a "mission file", a format readable by SIEVE. The second part of the video clip shows the SIEVE interface that allows the user to choose between different scenarios generated and allows the user to host an online collaborative session. The third part of the clip shows how the user can use SIEVE to explore the exported landscape in three dimensions.

Technote:
7. Spatial Information Exploration & Visualisation Environment (SIEVE): is a collaborative, virtual environment built using the Torque Games Engine (TGE) (www.garagegames.com (external link)). SIEVE has been developed by the CRC-SI in collaboration with DPI, DSE and Geosciences Australia.
