Soil Survey of the Basalt Plains of the Western District
This soil survey was carried out in the Western District in 1981, to provide basic information to extension officers with regard to the aspects of soil and crop management. The information included detailed inventory of the soils of the region, to locate any future crop or pasture experimental plots on soils typical of the region.
